We washed 340 charges and 34 tables to help prepare for a big soccer and arts camp next week for our host church, Waipuna Chapel.

Auntie Nettie is one of a kind! We met her Sunday afternoon on our prayer walk and she shared with us her love for her people and her passion to serve them in this difficult time after the fire disaster. She told us not to leave footprints here in Hawaii but to leave an imprint!

Auntie Nettie left such an impression on us that we asked if we could help her with her ministry Monday afternoon. We spent several hours helping her with her inventory that was located in five large truck canisters.

Today we drove up to an area that was affected by the fires. We are pulling an evasive weed called waddle that caused the fire to spread very quickly throughout the area.

We join in with the Hoosier Harvest Team to pull waddle weeds for the community. A waddle is pictured in this photo if you have never heard of this evasive weed from Australia.

Later that afternoon we drove up to higher ground to lay wood chips down to help with the erosion and pull waddle as well. This was all part of the Malama Kula project.
