Believers Church

The Believers arrived safe and sound at Facts of Life Church tonight and got settled in! 

Today we partnered with the Columbus Baptist Association to restore the backyard deck of a Whiteville resident! We arrived at the sight to analyze the work we needed to do to make the deck safe for those using it! We quickly started unloading lumber, and making a game plan! 

After reinforcing the foundation of the deck we began to screw-in the boards after they were processed. An assembly line was quickly formed to pass the boards to the boys who quickly attached them!

no one was really that bored ;)

After a few hours of labor, tons of screws, and lots of water breaks; the deck, stairs, and railing were all complete. 

In total we were able to replace over 30 boards, build a new staircase, add support for the deck, and replace the railing! We enjoyed the entire process, and had fun visiting with the homeowner, and her dog. 

Once everything was completed we gathered together to pray over the deck and the resident! 

As we worked to clean and beautify the Columbus Baptist Association Cole was challenged to pray for the CBA as he sprayed of the dirt! 

The CBA serves many people in the Whiteville Community, so we were so grateful for the opportunity to serve them! 

On day three we had the opportunity to care for the house and yard of a local pastor. We power-washed, trimmed bushes, cleaned, organized, and laid down pine straw. 

During our time there, the pastor stopped by and exclaimed "That's My house!" He was very grateful for the work we did! Glory to God!

We ended our last night at Facts of Life with pickle ball bonding and a late night Sonic run. What a great week it’s been. We are so inspired by this church and the ministry done. Safe travels home Believers!
