Lead Pastor Testimony:
Pastor Omar is a pastor's kid. He went to church during all of his childhood but fell away from God as a teen. “Life was hard being separated from God” he recalls. After hitting rock bottom, he started to visit the church again. After many visits, prayers offered for him, and being told that God had something for him, he started to believe again. He gave himself up entirely to God. Things started to change. He met his wife, got married, and started serving at the church. They bought a house and had three daughters. He and his wife spiritually matured and after some years serving, he was named pastor of El Buen Pastor.

El Buen Pastor
El Buen Pastor in Ensenada, Mexico has been around for approximately 70 years. Within the church’s denomination, it is the oldest church within Baja California! The mission and heartbeat of the church is 2 Timothy 4:5 that all are saved and none perish. That's why the church has a variety of ministries like door-to-door evangelism and “Jesus on the streets.” The congregation evangelizes directly and also holds massive events such as concerts and campaigns. The church also holds other events to be able to meet needs as well as share the gospel including kids’ activities, clothing and toy drives, prayer services and outreaches, food distribution, drama ministry, and more. The purpose for every one of the church’s activities is for the gospel to be presented.
